Sports Games
Golf has no standard course length; two eighteen-hole courses can demand very different shots while still following the same scoring idea. The player-facing version of the idea is simple: Team-sport AI has to do invisible work away from the ball; believable teammates need positioning, spacing and anticipation even when the player never looks at them. A tournament bracket is just a family tree where everyone is trying to eliminate their relatives.

Worth knowing
Basketball began in 1891 when James Naismith wrote thirteen basic rules and used peach baskets as goals. The first games did not even have open-bottom nets, so someone had to retrieve the ball. Another rabbit hole starts here: The marathon’s modern official distance is 42.195 kilometres. That exact number was standardized after the 1908 London Olympic route and later adopted internationally.
